Are you struggling to find appropriately qualified and committed staff for your care provision? ARC International are already working with a number of established private care providers and our team are very aware of the challenges that the sector is facing.

We are offering a high quality and secure service to all employers in the Health and Social Care sector to provide qualified workers from India, and other overseas countries, to assist in the labour crisis currently afflicting the sector. Our service is free to the employer once they have paid the registration fee of £500. What we provide is a seamless provision from identifying and screening suitable candidates, matching them to specific employer needs and then providing a comprehensive transition programme before they come to start work. The employer only has to interview the candidate, pay for the sponsorship and provide a contract of employment for the three duration of the visa. Read on for more details.

 

Target Group:

Our proposed target group for this staffing program comprises healthcare assistants or senior healthcare staff with relevant experience and qualifications. We will primarily focus on individuals who are seeking employment and possess the necessary certifications to work in the care sector. To achieve this we will engage non-UK and European candidates, particularly those from South Asian and Far East regions. By targeting this diverse group, we aim to provide you with a pool of skilled professionals who can meet your staffing needs effectively.

 

Sourcing the Candidates:

ARC International Limited will leverage its extensive network and partnerships to source qualified candidates for your care home. We will collaborate with universities, student unions, local care employer networks and other relevant channels overseas, to identify suitable candidates. Our comprehensive screening process will ensure that only skilled and competent individuals are presented to you.

In addition to our existing sourcing strategies, we are in the process of developing a cutting-edge search and match service specifically designed to connect healthcare assistants with job opportunities. This innovative platform will enable candidates to register their profiles, outlining their skills, qualifications, and preferences. Leveraging advanced algorithms and matching techniques, our service will efficiently pair candidates with suitable positions in your care home based on their expertise and your specific requirements. By integrating this service into our candidate sourcing process, we aim to provide you with an even more streamlined and tailored approach to identifying qualified healthcare assistants.

 

Training Programme

It is vital for the employer that any international worker can hit the ground running when they come into employment. We have established the ARC Employability Programme, in conjunction with a leading UK training provider,  to ensure that any applicant not only has appropriate qualifications, but will also pass through a six-week transition course of study, and is selected subject to stringent verification of background,  and a remote interview with the employer.

The six week programme comprises:

  • Communication skills (all candidates will be tested for their English competence and have to have the minimum entry requirements se set by the Government)

  • Medical English

  • British culture

  • The British Care system

  • Care practice

  • A day in the life – awareness training for work in a care home or domiciliary service.

  • Living in the UK – banking, accommodation etc.

 

We aim to provide all those completing the programme a NQF Level 2 in Health and Social Care as evidence of their suitability for working in our care system.

The Offer:

We propose to offer your care home access to a pool of qualified and experienced healthcare staff who are available on a continuous basis. These healthcare workers will be able to provide support in various areas, including personal care, medication administration, companionship, and other essential duties as required. By engaging our services, you will have the flexibility to address your staffing needs efficiently, ensuring continuity of care for your residents. Thus, your staffing solutions are completely fulfilled by us, providing you with peace of mind and allowing you to focus on your core business.

 

The Process:

Upon receiving your application and joining our programme, we will begin the process of identifying suitable candidates from our talent pool. We will carefully match their skills, experience, and availability with your specific needs. Before assigning a healthcare assistant to your care home, we will conduct thorough interviews, verify references, and assess their qualifications. This comprehensive approach will ensure that only the most qualified candidates are selected for placement.

 

Upon selection, the healthcare assistants will be contracted/deployed from ARC International Limited, eliminating any administrative burden related to recruitment, on boarding, and payroll (In case of contract). Our team will manage all aspects of the employment process, including compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. We will also provide ongoing support for an initial period after employment starts to both the care home and the healthcare assistants to address any issues that may arise during the assignment.
